Will hot kydex weaken the epoxy bond?

I was wondering, if it the heat from kydex forming may have a negative impact on the epoxy bond. Let's say, I've heated the kydex up to 150 °C and I'm forming it around a knife, with handle scales attached with Gflex 650 (and bolts). Surely, the steel will heat up. Could this weaken the bond or is there nothing to worry about?

Also, is there a difference in this regard, if the epoxy has cured for 4 days or if it has fully cured?

Always fully cure the epoxy before doing any further work.

The Kydex should not affect the epoxy, as the heat from it will be quickly dissipated by the foam press, the handle, and the knife blade. By the time it gets down to the epoxy, it will be much less than 150C.
