Agreed. Now if you DO decide to do it, I'd tape up the lock face, and the inside of the scales altogether.
It gets less chalk boardy the more you carry it. Something to keep in mind
Dont know if stonewashing will void it but you could scotchbrite it, that wont void anything. I did it on my umnumzaan and it looks great! Definitely less grippy tho so keep that in mind, I guess the stonewash finish would also be way less grippy.

I actually remember hearing an account of a guy here who sent his scotchbrited sebenza to spa and they wouldn't work on it because it was out of spec, too much material was taken off or something on edges i think, can't recall.
