Will Kershaw ship torsion bars for a Volt Stainless Steel?

I've heard of people getting sent torsion bars for the Cryo, but on the Kershaw site they say all non-USA produced knives cannot have parts shipped and one must send in the knife for torsion bar replacement.
If people are getting sent torsion bars for the Cryo, will Kershaw send torsion bars for the Volt SS? Having to send in a knife for warranty is one of the most least pleasant things to me, second only to losing the knife or severely chipping the edge.
 
From my own personal experience, KAI does not carry parts for their China-made products; you have to send the knife in for any repair work.

Exactly where did you hear the claim about the Cryo?
 
I think your best bet is to call them. I had a Chinese made Kershaw that came with a stripped pocket clip screw, sent an email and was told that I would have to send the knife in. I called them and was told that they would be receiving parts in about a week, called them a week later and in a few days had a new pocket clip with screws.
