I have been taking my Emerson combat karambit running with me for the past several weeks. Will I run into a problem with rust from the sweat? If so would a good cleaning every so often help out or should I find a cheaper karambit for my runs?

I'd say if you black coated version and you keep a decent coat of oil on it as well, you'll probally have no issue. and I mean that including the liners and such.

Just give it a good wipe down after every run. I wear a suit a few times a week, and will often tuck a blade IWB - most of which are 154cm. As long as I don't let the sweat sit on the blade too long, I'm okay. Worst I've gotten were a couple dots, which scrubbed out.

Try waxing it! Some thing like a Carnauba based car wax. Carnauba wax is made from a plant and its perty food safe its used to make Make-up and to make candies shine so im perty sure it safe. I use a product Called "Metalwax" they make all kinds of cleaning, polish and protection products for metal and fiber glass I use it on my motorcycle to keep all the chrome bits shiny, and even on the kitchen sink. Just google it and check it out it has tons of uses

I've regularly taken mine with me into the sea and back. I took it apart when I got it new and then apllied a liberal coat of car wax to all metal surfaces. During reassembly I'd put in a drop of oil into each screw hole prior to assembly. Regular rinsing after our drills and such, but some days I do forget to wash it right out soon after. Havent had a speck of rust on it in the last 5 years that I've been using it. Although the grey blade coating eventually crumbled/flaked off. On that one I dont know if its due to the saltwater immersion or my sweat just happens to be that corrosive.
