Hey Guys...
Good to see you guys are taking care of your blades..
One thing I would like to say though about oiling your blades...
When you are dealing with sheaths,,especially form fitting synthetic sheaths you want to use a minimum of oil on the knife...
A light coating will do...
The reason for this is you want to keep the introduction of oils, grease, and anything else sticky out of your synthetic sheath..
Oil attracts dirt, which will eventually build up in the sheath, attracting more dirt, dust and general Crud...
This will keep scratching of the blade to a minimum, especially on your satin and polished blades...
Keep the inside of your sheath clean by keeping your knife clean.
If I use Anything at all in my sheaths, its a light spray of WD-40 or a shot of silicone on my finger wiped into the mouth of the sheath..
This will keep your knife drawing smooth and locking up well. Please be aware that if you have a knife that is not snug fitting, the introduction of silicone into your sheath will make it loose, and your knife (Could) fall out..Use silicone with Extreme caution...
Keep'M clean boys and girls...

PS.. Tuff cloth is A++ stuff and leaves little residue...
