will police consider brous blade silent soilder a metal knuckle

I just obtained a silent soilder and now i am thinking that police may say it is a brass knuckle type tool.
Do you think i shold worry abojt this i live in the nyc area
I know the knife is allowed but brass knucles are considered a crime
 
This is probably not the correct forum to ask, but such interpretation will likely vary by state and even individuals.
 
Your best bet is to move away from NYC if you like to carry knives, guns, or anything else that COULD be used as a weapon.
 
It depends on which NYPD officer you run into, what time of day it is, and what mood he/she is in.
 
Agree with post #4 right above...I just looked it up to see what the knife looks like and there are those who will consider it the undefined "dangerous knife".....There are others that would not consider it a weapon. Remember most of the NYPD on street patrol are young people that went to school walking through metal detectors....They are not too use to knives of any kind be "lawful" in their eyes. The older more rational officers are most likely not the ones that will give you an issue.
