Will Rekat make a sifu in D2 steel with the finger grooves?

Why don't you contact 1stopknifeshop and ask if they can special order you one in D-2 BUT with finger grooves?
Afterall, the blade geometry is the same whether it is D-2, or ATS-34, therefore REKAT should be able to fit a regular grooved handle with a D-2 blade.

Apparently, D-2 does not have much of a reflective quality as ATS-34. However, that's hard to tell on a stonewash finish; much less, with a BT coating.
On high-grade knives, many manufacturers stamp the steel-type on the blade just to let you know what you spent so much money on!
The REKAT SE will have some type of marking on it to indicate it is a limited edition.
