I remember seeing this in a thread regarding the issues and quirks about the 560/561 but I can't seem to find the exact post. I see a lot of pics on here and realize most of them are from soon after you receive the knife. I wonder if the 550/551 and 560/561 are getting used to their full potential. I will be the first to admit that I have not used my 0550 that I got yesterday to anywhere near its potential. Since I am assuming it was designed to do more than shave some arm hair
I am wondering, what are your experiences with these newer ZT offerings? Has anyone REALLY put them through their paces yet in day to day heavy use. It certainly seems as if they are designed for such work. I am looking forward to the time when that heft and "overbuiltness" will come in handy (although I am not going to create an artificial reason to do so). What have you put your new 0550/0560 series knives through? Has use changed or strengthened your opinions? Is cost a factor in the way you use (or don't) use it? Pics always make threads good, sorry I don't have any. Pics of used 0550/0560's would be even better!
Also, the 0560 seems to overshadow the 0550 a bit, for good reasons I suppose. Are there more 0560s out in the wild than 0550s? or is just that much better/more coveted?
Mike.
