Will Spyderco fix a broken handle on a Chef Knife?

Ok, I sent in another Japanese knife before and Spyderco couldn't do anything for it. All I needed was a screw from my karahawk but alas, they just sharpened it and sent it back. So I want to ask if they can swap my handle out before I send it in and they just send it back like before.

I have this and it is an amazing knife, but the handle at the top broke. I didn't expect it to just come apart like that. I didn't smack it or anything and it just fell apart when washing it. If I send it in will they replace the handle?

In addition anybody else have this and the handle disintegrate on them?
