Sprint runs are marketing genius. It still haunts me that I never got a chance to acquire a delica in super blue. Will they ever return? Seems like they were a smash hit and I know zdp 189 is permently in the line up.

Super blue is not available outside of Japan and isn't on any production knife outside of the kitchen.

Legends say it sharpen like VG 10 but has way more edge retention.

Is it not cost efficient to produce?

I would say that the Delica is not gonna be offered in Super Blue. Sprints don't get rerun because he hurts collector value. I think seeing it in a different model is the best bet. Now a Kiwi4 in Super Blue would be sweet! The Kiwi4 is made by Moki so it would be solid Super Blue like the Caly sprints were. :)

From my experience it actually performs similar to VG10. It sharpens a little easier and takes a ultra fine edge just a little easier. It also seems to hold that razor edge very well under light use but to say that it has way better edge retention than vg10 would not be what I have experienced. They are really in the same class in my experience although they do seem to behave just a little differently. I have 5 of the SB sprints and carry them regularly. :)

You have to shop the forums and the internet site
that has bay as part of the name. I was lucky and received a NIB Super Blue Delica in the mail Monday. It's the sharpest lightest knife of it's size I have ever owned. Totally worth it start surfing!

Can we start a crowd funding site to commission the return of Aogami Super Blue?! :D

Like Bear said, maybe a return Sprint of another couple of great Moki knives in full Super Blue! Or Seki... either way.

Maybe Khukri, or Rock Lobster? JD Smith? Lum Tanto Folder? Starmate or Double Bevel!? Dialex Junior?
Bring it on back! :)
