works perfectly all I had to do was sand about .010 off the back spacer . Blade is centered and lockup perfect no blade play at all . This would be the perfect benchmade in my opinion. Going to keep it this way.
the blade fit good, I ended up giving it to my best friend, he likes the serrated edge. It was a little tight fitting in the liners , kept the original 908 washers with the 916 blade. The 916 washers are thicker than the 908 washers. I don't have a 909 but I would think it would work as well.
I wondered about this every since the Axis Stryker came out. I wasnt sure the swap could be done as one blade is slightly thicker than the other according to Benchmades specs.
