Will the blade angle gauge be available again?

I think it was basically an experiment by Spyderco to see how people like them. They seemed to be received well. They weren't available for very long (I wasn't able to get one). Not sure if they are going to do it again. As for where you can get one, the only place I can think of where it might be possible is ebay. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I don't believe they have plans at the moment to bring it back, but as I said, they were kind of an experiment and seemed to be well-received so I wouldn't be shocked if they were brought back into production. I'd buy one
 
Define "well received". I seem to recall a huge outcry on the forums over the shipping cost on them, since it was more than the gages themselves. I didn't try ordering one, so I don't know if it could have been added on to other items to spread the shipping cost out.

If I remember correctly that was a mistake that was corrected before they shipped...

I was talking about the product itself, not the price or shipping or anything like that. I haven't heard any complaints about the actual device itself, and I've heard some people say how cool/useful they are. Admittedly, I'm not basing that on any hard evidence, just what I remember from some informal "reviews". I could be completely wrong in my assessment. But if spyderco is basing whether or not to produce more on customer reaction, I assume it's based on the reaction to the actual product itself.
 
So do I. By the time I got there to order, they had either been pulled or sold out. I'd like to have one or two myself.
 
I also tried ordering one, but it was sold out. I would get a couple if they were on sale again.
 
I wanted one, but really just to have one. I have a different angle gauge but I never use it. I end up changing the angle to what I like anyway so finding out the original angle is just something to satisfy a curiosity.

What brand and/or type do you have? I'd like to find one, just to have as a reference tool in my little desk pile.
