Will the Dog Father sheath fit a FBM?

The Dog Father closely resembles the FBM. The Dog Father blade is thicker though (if that matters with this sheath).

I have one comming with the DF and if the sheath fits the FBM, I will be in for one or two more.

Then the question is, will the sheath fit the FBMLE???
 
I would say likely. I'll reserve until faster clickers get theirs and confirm it. If the DF sheath is a bit fat, a quick hot-water bath and squishin around a CGFBM would make it rattle much less.

LE's won't fit. I would think they are TOO thick to mod the kydex. But I could be wrong.
 
I don't think these have Kydex inserts, just a clear plastic liner that isn't fitted too tightly.

My guess is that an LE would probably fit, but it deserves better.
 
(The sheath looks just like the ones used by Ranger and RAT - they do just have the clear plastic liner - they're not total crap or anything, and $20 isn't a bad deal)
 
I just ordered one for my CGFBM. I hope it works out until I get the cash for one of Dwaynes Dundee rigs. Anyway, do you think the plastic liner will scratch up the coating on the blade?

I have had my Tan Camp Tramp for a couple of years now, and it is in a sheath with the clear plastic liner......it's good to go, no scratches to speak of. (from the sheath i mean......) from use,......well it's thrashed!
 
I just ordered the knife and sheath. Couldn't pass it up. A real deal IMO. I'll post pics when they get here if the FBM also fits the sheath.
 
Gotta admit I snagged one myself. Didn't order a sheath though> I plan to make my own for it.

yeah, i ended up ordering a knife and 2 sheaths

if it doesn't fit, i'll just have to get another Dog Father
 
It most likely won't fit, sorry.

I have just about every sheath mentioned. I have RD9 sheaths, I have BEcker Sheaths, I even have sheaths that fit the Rat Daddy. None of these are wide enough for the FBM blade. Only the RTAK sheath will work. Or Machete sheath.

But my Dogfather will have it's own sheath so I should find out for sure, soon.
