In about an hour, I gotta take the wife and kid to Fallon for the day. 72 miles each way, and not knowing if the package will be delivered today, or I must wait till Monday or Tuesday for it's delivery.

We won't get back until after dark. :(

Can I survive not knowing the package's fate?

Will I have an attack of whatchamacallit tonite and tomorrow if it doesn't show up?

Arrrrrgh!!!!!

No you ornery and thoughtful brother you needn't wait any longer!!!!!!!:)
The package came just a few minutes ago!!!!

I thought, "Now what is my ornery little brother doing?" along with many other thoughts until I managed to wrest the goodie from its exquisite wrapping job. There was no way in heaven or hell that that item was gonna come loose from its place in the box!!!!!!!

Brother I thank you for such a thoughtful gift and at such an opportune time with the new Drs. appointment this Monday I'm taking it as a good omen and pre-requisite of things to come!!!!
Rusty, I really don't have the words to express my feelings right now except for many Thank You's of which hardly seems enough.

Oh!!!! And for those of you who don't know what's going on.......
Rusty sent me an iron cutout of a beautiful Kokopelli that's stamped with the makers name and is numbered 1/25 which means it is the 1st one of a run of 25!!!!:)

Thanks again Bro!!!!:D :D :D :D

as an iconographic art style, it is in my top five.

Here's the top five of Ferrous's fave iconographic art styles:
1. Ancient Scandinavian (Urnes, Ringerike interlace, rock carvings, etc)
2. Celtic interlace (knotwork)
3. Aztec figure glyphs (tie) Pacific Nortwest
4. Kokopelli figures and forms
5. Historic military crests and banners, Heraldry.

I had to get it boxed up and sent off right away, you see, it was cut out of steel and welded onto another piece of steel for a base. You know what it looked like to me?

I used to shoot IHMSA. ;)

Steel silbouettes of chicken, javelina, turkey, and rams with handguns. This was too lightly constructed for centerfire, but it would have been fine for the shorter rimfire range target to use as a tiebreaker for shootoffs. ( Somehow, I just didn't think the NDN would appreciate it showing up with lead smears if not dents in it. ) :D :D

It's a good thing I don't have a good 22 competition pistol, Yvsa, I don't know how long I could have resisted the urge! ;) :D :p :p

Well Bro I'm glad you resisted as long as you did. It is a beautiful piece, seems like Kokopelli in one form or another is all over and around our home.:)
Barbie and I are just glad that we're both beyond the childbearing thing.;) :p :p
