will the pm2 work for me?

It has the reputation for the best knife around but due to a couple things I'm second guessing about pulling the trigger:

-I own an endura and I find it too bulky and long
-my delica is almost a perfect size
-the blade thickness of 3.5 mm might be getting a bit too large for me.

would I be better with a caly 3/3.5 or perhaps something else?

Perhaps some size comparisons with the endura would me much helpful as well.
Thanks :)

What's the point of changing if the Delica is nearly perfect? If you're tryng to compensate for something the Delica won't do for you, we need to know what it is to know whether the P2 would be a good choice. Without knowing any more about why you want to change, I'd sugest looking at the Native 5 rather than the P2. The N5 will be much closer to the Delica's size with a 3mm blade and about a 2.5" cutting edge. It's also a very solid knife that's capable of stepping up into the serious cutter category. If you don't like backlocks and still want to stay closer to the Delica's size, then one of the Sages might work well for you. If you don't need to stay with a Spyderco, then BM's mini-Bone Collector, or Emerson's Traveler or Endeavor are other possibilities.

Hello,

I have both and closed they are almost the same size, Endura is maybe an 1/8" longer. Open the Endura is about 3/4" longer but it feels a lot bigger. The handle design of the Para2 makes it feel smaller because you can choke up and use the choil. I would look at the Sage instead of the Para2, seems like you want a smaller knife and the Para2 is more of a medium knife to me.

Have a good one,

Chris
