Will the steel on the new LUM fixed blade be thicker than the Moran Featherweight?

I'm anxiously awaiting the new LUM Fixed Blade Tanto. Will the blade steel be thicker than that of the Moran Featherweight series? I'm hoping for a more durable blade.

Thanks!

If the production model is any thing like the pre-pro on display at the Blade Show, you won't break the "Lumto". It was very stout compared to a Moran. Hope this helps.

Hi Bimmer. the blade thickness on the Moran is 3mm. The blade thickness on the Lum Tanto is 4.5mm.
