Sorry if this question's been asked. But I thought it would make a grat product. Perhaps something along the price range of the Intripid series?

Tall,

I have not heard anything definite but i know we are "talking" about the possibility of another Strider.
Lets cross our fingers!

Take care,

geeeeee the stryder looks alot like the bm stryker

after the take our guns away they're comin after our knives

Only if you count the tanto blade style (and there are more than a few companies making tantos), otherwise it's like saying that a Honda is alot like an Expedition, cause they're both motor vehicles.

Hmmm...would still like to see the 880 in a spear-point blade. Of course, BG-42 for the first 500 again.

I'm with you Dave, a spear point would be terribly useful in a knife built like the Strider.

Just adding my voice to the spearpoint chorus.

Perhaps if we become loud enough, Buck will produce the spearpoint version just to shut us up.

Another vote for spearpoint, and a spearpoint folder as well.

SPEARPOINT! SPEARPOINT! SPEARPOINT! SPEARPOINT!

I'll cast my .02 cents for a spearpoint.
Wish my Strider folder was a spearpoint.
The utility value for me would be improved greatly.

I'm with Shrike9. Strider makes a fixed blade. Just ordered a MT model 10 with the 5 1/2 inch blade.

I do like the Buck Strider though.

I would like to see a more ergonomic handle buck strider which will give a sure grip. Rekat, Microtech, Al Mar...etc. make tough folders with ergonomic handles.

Ummm, you replied to a post that's 4 years old. This question was asked in the year 2000. A lot has happened since then.

I did a search for stryder and didn't look @ the date, my bad

But in my defense, the production Buck/Strider 890 is currently unavailable . . . or is it ?

It is available. Some stores have it on preorder, others show it in stock.
