Will there be another Buck Strider folder design? How will it differ from the existing 880, 881, 882?

I'm hooked on buck striders. Can you give us a little info on the new folders? Thanks.

I sincerely hope none of the new folders will be manufactured in TAIWAN. :barf:

All Strider Products Are Made In The U.S.A. And Always Will Be. Anything With Strider On It Is Made In The U.S.A., And Always Will- This Includes Buck Striders.

Please give us a few more detals about the new knife in the SBT Line. I am itching to know becasue I have been contemplating buying one lately.

The G-10 Version has all of the same features of the original SBT, but with a thicker liner, G-10 slabs and its screwed together with subdued screws.

The first 500 will have a tumbled blade and clip, after those they will be beadblasted like the 880 and 881.

We have some other knives on the drawing board and will continue to grow our tactical line.

Ohmy.

Tumbled blade, G10, thicker liner, screws (!)... I want one of those.

How much thicker will the liner be, and what will be the model number so I can go pre-reserve one? 883? :)

Tumbled blade and all that other good stuff! I'd like to get in on this. Where does the line start?

I never liked the unpainted screws on the 882 and the letters "buck" etched on the zytel handles. The G-10 version 882SBTG CMT looks great with the black screws.

Why will the regular production G-10 version have bead blast finish when the cheaper zytel version has the stonewash finish or tumbled finish? I'm not a fan of bead blast due to rust.

Will it be possible to upgade 882 to 882 with G10?
I like new one better, but I already have 882...

What about TiAlNi? It looks awsome on Alaskan Guide! It will be even better on 882!

Thanks, Vassili.

Bead Blast is non reflective; steel rusts, PM your gear.

No G10 upgrades for 882, not practical or cost effective.

Well, I am disappointed. It is quite cost uneffective for me - to buy another one for another $120 or something.

Thanks, Vassili.
