I would love to see the 530 in a pushbutton automatic or single-action OTF pattern. I think for places where autos are legal to carry it would make an exceptional EDC auto. I know that the 3500 is an option but I have handled it and the ergonomics simply aren't great. If I'm not mistaken the 3500 is just the 350 as a push-button auto. What's the precedent for Benchmade making automatic versions of manual knives?

If they ever did offer a 5300 or a 5310, I'd assume it would be an Axis Auto. That being said, I don't know if the form factor is thick enough to allow the springs necessary for an auto.

Would also like to see a 530 push button auto. I like the axis lock autos' too but push button is simpler/easier to deploy and for a smaller knife like the 530 would want push button.

3550 is about as close as you may get.
If it had a tip up option I would have bought one years ago.
