i want a large Classic 2000 but, i want the birth date to be on my birthday. will they do this? also should i do the Polished hollow grind any pics?? thanks alot

You need to ask CRK.#2- I would Not have the blade polished. Especially if you plan on using it. Your call!

I would guess that if you asked them to hunt through a box of knives to find one made on the same date and they had it, that they would send it to you. I guess it might depend on how busy they are (Christmas rush?), and how much extra you offered to pay for the service.

More likely what would happen, is they would just complete the form to whatever date you asked, in which case I'm sure there'd be no charge, though an offer of a $20 tip wouldn't hurt for the favour.

Definitely worth asking them.
