Will this fit onto my Bushmaster M4?

There is no difference in the bayonet lugs of the M16 or the M4 as far as I know.
 
Assuming you have a preban or recent manufacture M4gery with bayonet lug and birdcage flash hider, the Ontario bayonet will fit.
 
If your flash suppressor is the same size as mil-spec, and not bigger, the Ontario bayonet will definitely fit any rifle in the M16/AR15 family. Otherwise, the ring will not fit over and past the suppressor.
 
It depends what "M4" you have......

That bayonet as well as the M9 Bayonet are designed to fit a 20" barreled M16 or a "True" military M4, which has a 14.5" barrel and A2 flash suppressor. A gun with a barrel of this length is considered a "shortbarreled" rifle by ATF and very illegal for civilians to own without special paperwork.

Most of the pre-ban "M forgeries" we see have a 16" barrel with A2 flash hider. The bayonet will mount to a 16" barrel M4,but not properly. Since the barrel is 1.5" longer, the ring on the bayonet will actually end up on the barrel, with the flash-hider sticking out to far. I know, i tried it on mine. I wouldnt recommend it.
