Will using the new delta3V on k18 make it better

The tweaked variation of Delta 3V that was recently developed is better suited for smaller harder blades. I think I would probably continue to use the standard Delta protocol on choppers and swords.

Although, even the standard Delta 3V is processed a little bit differently for swords. It's the Delta protocol heat treat but the steel is rolled differently than it is for smaller knives.

There are currently no plans to produce more boot daggers.

The boot dagger was an artifact of K18 production

The K18, in addition to making a lot of my hair fall out, was fantastically wasteful of an expensive material and I was able to fit in a boot dagger that I have always wanted to do into a drop during the production process.

I will never make another K18 for as long as I live. Or I will become completely bald.

The Boot Dagger is retired.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how many K18s were ultimately made? I'm guessing the answer is written down somewhere, but I am not prepared to search Yoko to find it.

I found this post from last year:

现在的K18已经是最好的了,对吧
Yes. There is literally nothing like it. It is not hyperbole to say that the K-18 is different than, and would outperform, any sword (modern or historical) for the purpose it was created. It is unequaled.
