Will we ever see liners from CS?

First, let me say that it's great to see Cold Steel on Bladeforums. I own a number of your products and have never been disappointed. CS, in my opinion, ranks right at the top for innovation and boldness.

Consequently, I've always been surprised that CS doesn't make a folder with metal liners. As someone mentioned in another post, you make the best Zytel folders out there. However, stainless or titanium liners, combined with scales of Micarta or something similar, offer a level of balance and heft that many knife enthusiasts crave.

So, how about it? Will we ever see such a folder from Cold Steel?

A comment, although distantly related. I picked up a Scimitar for the first time a few weeks ago and boy was I impressed with the liner lock! It is a short one but the bulk of it is VERY thick and I found the lock-up to be very secure. Their first liner lock is a success in my opinion. Oh, it is a big knife though!

CS does make the Scimitar liner lock with a titanium liner.

We are constantly developing new products so keep your eyes open.

I too would like to see a liner lock from CS. Hopefully, in the near future, but the voyager line is still the cream of CS crop. I guess if you have a good thing going why change it.

Does anybody remember the ultralock. It had a thick ,strong linerlock-double anything else out at the time. It seems that CS was ahead of its time on that one. I wonder why they stopped making it?
