OK GUYS ! i have put bugs in the ears of powers that be...
now it is your turn to sound off! \
PLEASE POST HERE and or EMAIL ME !!!!

are you willing and able to take the time to bring your
Buck Knives to a knife show for a day or two?
& were at would you go to a show or like to go?

two locations seem to be prime locations so far for getting a
new group of BCCI sponsored tables at AKCA sanctioned shows!

there is a cluster of buck owners in Florida over 11 so far!!
and a lakeland knife show were i ran in to some bcci guys..

there are about 8 or 9 map pins with in a days driving distance of north central Texas.were there is

Dallas every sept.! the MAN in charge there is the same one that got the Blade Show off and running!!! this SOS is growing fast!

so the powers that be are aware that there are buck nuts out there that MAY would like and be able to make a showing for a BCCI show..
now they need to hear from you if you can make it and be part of a show with other fantastic buck nuts! :thumbup:

sounds like a plan....near orlando, fl. stick a pin in the map for me dave, however you do it.
 
Compared to most Buck-aroos, I don't have all that much to display. Mine are all pretty common, but I'm growing. Some day, if I live long enough. But, I would really like to go to a show where I can see lots of Bucks and meet fellow Buck-nuts and learn more about the hobby. N/C Texas is good. That's only a 12-14 hour drive and would be willing to do that. September is bad because I'm also a high school football official, but with enough advanced notice, I could still work it out.

So, bottom line to the question.....put me down for a north/central Texas show. Probably won't display, but certainly would like to see what y'all have.

Im down here in central Florida,Texas is to far... Anyplace in Florida,any time tho.And I dont think it matters much if its a acculmation or a fancy high buck display,Its all about BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to see everybodies Bucks common or rare...In truth its about "FELLOWSHIP"
 
If you want to see me collection you're going to have to haul your BCCI butt up here to central Washington State or attend the 20 year BCCI reunion. I will be bringing most of my collection with me since I can drive there. Texas or Florida is way out of the question. :jerkit:
 
I just checked Dave's fancy map and the distance/driving time from my house, here in Alamosa, to either Post Falls or Dallas is almost exactly the same. Right at 700 miles and about 12 hours so Post Falls is looking better all the time. I thought it was further then that.
 
as to the budk-a-roos on the west cost ---
i dont mean to leave you guys out in the cold!!! nor did i forget of you guys!!!
i know there are thoes that are who have been working real hard and long on haveing buckroos come to the shows on the west cost and i did not want to steep on or take over their projects at all!!! thoes that are working on that

PLEASE PUT UP SOME INFO FOR THE GUYS HERE!!!

dont say you are shy also!! and i WILL tell you it is not the number of bucks that make a display!!!:D i won the best first time displayer by only one vote to one with only 8 knives- it was so nicely done i voted for it insted of mine !!! we want to see you and what you have and chat and compare!!!:D;)

I traded it for a pack of smokes when I was down and out and haven't seen that dude at the bar since. :(
 
I think I got the kahoona's to give it a try. Don't know what to display or even have a display device, but I got a table saw and some elmers. As soon as it is for sure will get started. All I had to say to wife was Dal-las, Shop-ing.

No. My Bucks are for me. No one else. Not no whining little 10 year old snot looking to plaster his fingerprints (and PBJ) all over my $200 knives... :grumpy:

I have no collection. No display cases. No big sign describing the progression of my accumulation. No table to set it all up on. No locks to keep sticky fingers out. No vehicle big enough to carry everything. And no patience with morons who want to look at and handle them all and then offer to buy one for $5... :mad:
