Anyone have one ?
I like the modified Warnecliffe (sp) blade.
I think I can afford one of these and a Michrotech auto at the same time.
Is it built better than a CRKT ?
I am also considering the Wasp.
opinions and impressions are appreciated.

I have the SO5-G with black G10 scales and the leather sheath with integral pocket clip. It's a small, "gentleman's" pocket knife--very nicely made, good materials, VG10 steel.

You will not be dissappointed.

I own both a small Wasp and an Evolution Wharncliff with black scales. The Wasp is nice other than too many sharp edges where hand meets handle. It actually drew blood sliding my hand past it into my pocket. The Evolution is stunning. Fit, finish, action, blade-steel, looks, all near perfect for a gent's liner lock. Even the clipable pouch works really well once you get used to it.

I just purchased a William Henry Evolution (spearpoint, cocobolo scales) and I have handled the Wasp at my local B&M store. I can tell you that while the Wasp is a very cool looking knife (and I am a big CRK&T fan), IMHO the Evolution exhibits better fit and finish and is a generally classier/elegant looking knife. The Wasp seems to be a bit heavier duty, so it may still be a better choice, depending upon your intended uses.

The ergonomics of the two knives seems to vary quite a bit too. The WH is very small and thin: the Wasp seems somewhat beefier, but has lots of pointy edges and I imagine might take a while to get used to. Either one seems like a fine knife...enjoy your dilemma :)

On the ads I've seen on the WH the blade is listed as 3" while the wasp has a smaller blade.
Is the WH a "delicate" knife or will it be sturdy enough for everyday use ?

Slicer, I have one and I am impressed with the fit and finish. Flawless execution of a gentleman's folder. This knife is intended for light to medium cutting duties and it is a thin knife, making it look smaller. It is not a heavy duty knife, but it is not delicate and will be able to take care of most daily cutting chores. What I'm particularly impressed with was the out of box sharpness. It is the sharpest folder I've owned including a Sebenza, LCC, Kershaw, Spyderco, Cold Steel, etc. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you get one.

Thank's
I figure for opening boxes, envelopes etc is about all it'll be used for.
I'm going to get it ordered with with a Michrotech auto for duty use.
I'm also ordering a CRKT peck for use as a money clip. Getting the wallet out of the uniform pants is a real bear with all the gear on :(

So much steel and so little cash

OK, just to add fuel to your fire, I was at the knife store and I was handling the Wasp when I spotted the the William Henry Evolution in G-10 handled, Wharnecliffe blade format. I asked to see it and when I got my hands on it, the Wasp went bye-bye back into the display case post haste.
Every positive remark about this knife that has been said in this thread up to this point is the whole truth and nothing but the truth, IMHO.
This is a perfect suit or "going-to-Sunday-meetin'" kind of knife.

Get one.
You won't be sorry.

I have the Wharncliffe. LOVE it!

I thought I knew the definition of scary sharp until I pulled this thing out of the box. Now I do know the definition of scary sharp. Mine has G10 scales; just couldn't bring myself to pay the extra for the fancy scales.
