According to several websites, William Henry won the Blade Show 2006 Award for Overall Knife of the Year with the 'Gentac folder'

But, I can't find anything about it? Anyone know more about this knife?

Maybe it hasn't been released yet?

IIRC, didn't Spyderco win some awards for the Samaritan, which didn't come out either?

IIRC, the samaritan was a contender, and Spyderco won with the B-Fold.
For both pics have been available...

Odd that the WH knife won an award, but no pics....

I was at Blade this year and was able to handle the GenTac prototype. There's an upscale version on William Henry's website that sold this June (I think it's under the collector's section). Anyway, Bill Matthews tells me that the GenTac will go into production this fall.
It has a removeable, deep carry clip and what William Henry calls a "dot matrix" damascus blade. The damascus resembles some of the digital camo patterns on some tactical knives such as Striders, but is a damascus weld, not just a pattern.
All in all, it's a gorgeous knife, and I will add it to my collection when it's available.

Any links to an online pic?, I saw it on a knife magazine but it was a very small pic, and didn't see it on his website. Anyone heard the specs of it? Price?
