Must say, been looking at some of the folding knives of William Henry. Very beuatiful designs, wood handles, and some of the damascus blades. For those of you who own a WH knife, how do you like them? Even though they are beuatiful knives, any body put them through some hard use or prolonged EDC? How do you like how the knife if carried? In regards to the clip on pouch the knife rides in compared to the pocket clip actually being on the knife itself? Too bulky in the pocket or rides nice? Thanks for the input. Cheers!

wh's are very well made knives and use quality materials. fit/finish are excellent.

they are a gentleman's knife, not really designed for hard use. the blades are thin and very sharp.

the pouch is nice, but i prefer a regular pocket clip.

i owned a titan, and carried it only a couple times. the button lock seems very secure, and is easy to operate.

i sold it in favor of more "usable" knives. at least more usable for me.

I've got a number of them, accumulated over the past few years. I carry and use them occasionally, a few I have carried and used for a prolonged time. I don't see them being used hard though. They are nice and light to carry, in the pocket or clip pouch. The fit and finish is impeccable.

Fit and finish is amazing. The designs never grew on me, though and I really can't tell the difference between their huge masses of models

I have one of the older liner-lock B12 Spearpoints with Redwood Burl handle scales - love it. Even though it is the size of a Delica, I've never gotten any flack from anyone who saw me with it. Thanks to the Redwood Burl & appearance of it, it gets treated as more of a piece of jewelry than as a knife.

Never really used it hard, it's mainly my EDC for when I am dressed up. Fit & Finish are incredible. Glad I got mine when I did though, current prices on them are higher than I am willing to spend.

I have a couple of WH knives, and they are what I usually carry on formal occasions. Fit and finish is top notch ! Action is so smooth.

I've owned a WH Titan, now for about 6 months. I thought I wanted one with it's own pocket clip, but wound up with an older model with the clip on the sheath. Clips of any kind are new to me and I carry both types.

While there are advantages to both, if I had to choose one, I'd go with the sheath. It rides higher, doesn't wear out the pocket, and is generally out of the way more, but still fairly accessable.

For my uses, WH knives are perfect. Hope this helps.

I just acquired a NIB William Henry B7-FT Westcliff (with a clip) so I will let you know as soon as it arrives. I wanted a lightweight high quality good looking 3" blade for casual carry, I have other more disposable or hard users if needed.

This are high quality, lightweight, light-use gentlemans folders with excellant fit and finish and beautiful disigns. They arent meant to be used hard due to their light thin nature, and they are quite expensive.

I like WH knives and some of them are heaver duty knives as can be seen in this photo. It is up to you to decide if dress only or work duty. But I think they can do both, Now I will NOT be chopping down trees with any of them. But for my uses, they suffice well.

IMHO, if you can afford a BMW....you should own a BMW...oops...I mean WH! As a jeweler, I particularly like the ones with stones set in the thumb studs and such. Po' folks have Po' ways...and I be one of them....WH is out of my budget for a usin' knife. Feedback from others tell me they rank well in the usin' catagory, but no one wants to scuff it up!

I own a William Henry Legacy (H230-C) That I use as a EDC... Its very light and I would not be to worried about losing it or scratching it up.

and I have a William Henry Auto (Excalibur B05) it stays at home and I show it off to friends on how well the action is on the auto. They are very well made.

I have had the pleasure of going to the William Henry studio and see how they are made and get to talk to many of the people who use them it seems most are "art collectors" and not many use them as EDC.

I own A titan BF15 for 2 years now. I carry it almost every day. I don't chop trees, I don't use it for digging. But I also don't hold back of any cutting chores. My everyday job is in roadconstruction, so I do not work in survivalconditions, but it is no office life either.

I love the knife with the thin cutting blade, the Ti scales. I like the buttonlock very much, It flips open effortless and back in without your fingers beeing in the way. The pocketclip is for me a very nice addition to the package!

I use a Atwood Prybaby for the scratching/scraping and my knife for cutting. I like the combo!

It gets the most carry time above my BM 690, Buck 501, Spyderco Caly 3 ZDP, BM 960.

I thinking about an bf5 Mojave as the next one, but maybe its going to be an nautilus old style!

I hope this helps
