I'd been reading about the WH line of knives for the longest time and always lusted after one. I had no "gentleman's knife" in my collection, so the Lancet in CF would surely fit the bill. Well, I finally had some extra $, so I took the plunge.
The BTOJ dropped the package off yesterday, and I eagerly tore into the box when I got home. I was totally unprepared for this knife. I knew it would be nice, but I had no idea I would absolutely fall in love with it. First thing I noticed was that it was smaller and lighter than I expected. Second, the carbon fiber with the anodized liner and clip makes a breathtaking visual impression. Third, the shape of the knife, both closed and open, is stunning.
Getting further into it, I noticed that the blade centers PERFECTLY in the handle when closed. Lastly, the thing locks up like a bank vault with zero play in either the vert or horiz direction. The only complaint I had with the knife was that it wasn't "hair poppin'" sharp out of the box. 30 min on the Edge Pro fixed that. Anyway, I haven't used it yet, so I can't report on edgeholding or cutting ability. But I suspect it'll be like a little scalpel for fine work. I'm definitely not gonna cut radiator hoses with this thing as the blade is ground from very thin stock, with a very high grind. Also, these knives are apparently intended as users as my Lancet has a regular old satin finish on the blade. That's good as I intend it to be my "office sheeple friendly" blade. The clip looks great hanging out of my shirt pocket. And it's so light that I don't even feel it.
Yeah, I love this little thing. In the end, I'll probably rotate it evenly with my small Sebenza.
More comments will follow as I get a chance to use it more. I have a feeling that that sweet point of the blade is gonna come in handy for a lot of things.

I just recently picked up a Lancet CF as well and I'm quite taken with the knife. Light, elegant, smooth action. Plus I'm not so worried about my coworkers freaking out if they get a glimpse of it ;)

Mostly I find myself wishing that I had more stuff that I need to cut with it :D
