I am lusting after one of these.
If you have one, or have handled one, please give me your opinions.
Thanks

I have a few WH knives, including the pearl Lancet w/damascus blade. It is a super quality knife, and the shape is timeless in it's simplicity and style. It was the first WH that I fell in love with.

It has it's drawbacks, though. The combination of a small slender, tapering handle, coupled with the polished pearl scales makes it *very* hard to open. The darn thing is like holding on to a wet bar of soap! The polished pearl thumbstud doesn't help other than look great.

I gave my wife the engraved amber stag version (as a bribe!:)), and she does OK with her much smaller hands.

That being said, it is still a favorite--just dont plan on it being your best EDC.

Here's a few pics of both, plus my engraved T-12.

Thanks for the response.
I like the engraving on those knives.
Hope you do not mind if I duplicate the design!

I owned a Pearl handled one as well, and yep she's a bit of a SMOOTH rascal, but so very nice looking! But gripping it is somewhat a chore, the others are more user friendly. Here is a collection I once had, I'm down to the Carbon Fiber Lancet and Spearpoint and an Evolution Wharncliff, and just picked up a Kestrel with amber Jigged bone, what a neat little knife that is!
