A couple of weeks ago, in the knives for sale by dealers forum, someone said that the prices on William Henrys are going up soon. Does anyone know about this and have details? Thanks.

HEY

I dont know anything about the prices going up but as soon as I came in to this post I noticed that you are a senior member now.

It was 100 exact!!!

CONGRATULATIONS MAN......

Chesapeake K&T have already raised theirs, Northwest says they will when current stock is depleted, KnifeArt and Chai have not put up a notice. Yes, it is happening.

Hmm. Most distressing. BTW, thanks Mickey. This seemed like a fine topic to hit Senior status with.

As an example here's pricing for the Amber series:

Persian and Kestrel: old $200 new $239.95
Lancet : old $225 new $269.95
Spearpoint : old $250 new $299.95

No time like the present to get one ordered. Take care.

There are lots of custom liner lock makers out there who charge less for knives that are 100% handmade. Those will always hold more appeal for me, personally, but I've heard nothing but good things about WH knives from those on the forums, so to each his own...

William Henry Knives maybe having a price increase, but they are a solid bargain at even the new price. They simply display a higher level of craftsmanship than any custom foldes in their price range that I have seen, or for another $100 up for that matter.

They MAY not be your cup of tea, but they are wonderfully made. Their finish work is amazing. I've got 3, I'll get more.....

I'll know that William Henry prices are "just right" when I can call my distributor and have a better than even chance of getting the William Henry knives I want without getting back-ordered.

After looking at the quality of the Lancet and Spearpoints, they are great bargains! Even better at the old prices!

I've been holding out on a Fishtail Kestrel, but this may well push me over the edge.

What gets me, is that dealer cost hasn't went up, so why should the retail cost go up?
