I just got a William Henry B15 Attache, the old version with the DLC coated ZDP 189 laminate blade.
I really like the knife, but I was a bit disappointed with the finish for a knife at this price. There is a small blemish on the coating by the stud, and some very small chipping in the carbon fiber around one of the screw holes. W/H owners- is this normal? Would you send it back for such minor flaws?

Thanks for any help,
Mike

I don't have any WHs personally, but all that I've seen have been flawless. In any case, I don't accept any flaws whatsoever. Get that fixed.

I actually have the same issue with a lg legacy I bought a while back. It doesn't bother me, but thats just me. Send it in for a fix if you need to. I've dealt with them before and they are a fantastic bunch.

All the WH's I've seen and owned have been flawless. Send it in to them, otherwise it will continue to nag at the back of your mind.

Agreed. Any "new in box" WH knife should be free of any flaws and blemishes.

Thanks all. I kept telling myself that the defects would help get me over the "new" hump, but you're right- a William Henry should at least start out pristine- for that price, I get to put the dings on! Back it goes!
