Thanks Chris, I guess they are considered as a bridge type knife, meaning
Matt Conable has a flock of folks that do a lot of the hand work on each knife
so it's a mix of some automated parts, like the frames of Titanium are done
by one place but the knives are assembled by hand at his shop in Oregon
and sharpened by him for the most part as I understand it, but, all the one's
I've ever owned were as nice or nicer than some of the customs I've handled
well made, but for that price you'd expect nothing less.
With this one, you get;
San Mai Damascus blade with a very hard center layer of ZDP-189, new sharp kid on the block
Titanium integral bolsters and frame
Citrine stones inset into the thumbstud and the button lock button
Very nice premium Snake wood scales
Sterling Silver lanyard bail and a braided leather lanyard
Nice presentation case too
Leather slip sheath with pocket clip
Nifty circle embossed with WH, hadn't had one of those before
and last but not least, you also get with this the
William Henry DVD that they
sell for $10 called The Art of Knifemaking, hosted by Peter Coyote.
So, all in all a nice package, as I have a rougher duty William Henry user that I'm keeping and
I need to part with this one as I have some new Camera lenses I'm looking at!
