I'm looking at these carbon fibre knives. What do you think of the blade shapes and size of these two? This is just for a nice light duty, dress knife. (BTW, I was also thinking of the Benchmade 335?) Thanks

Hard to beat the CF Lancet for a light duty, dress knife. Much nicer than the BM 335. Blade shape and size are just about right for anything you might want to use it for. Amazingly light in your pocket -- in fact, I prefer to carry mine in my shirt pocket. The CF Kestrel is also a very nice knife, but some find it a little too small.

If you like the CF series, check out the Black & Tan. :D

I own the WH T10CF, it is a wonderful knife. I can not recommend it more highly.

I bought another one after losing the first one at a trade show (ouch!).

If your wallet is sensitive, don't look at the Executive series of the same knife with the "Black Diamond" BC1 blade coating and the gold hardware (it's beyond sweet)!

The workmanship is great, the lock is quite tight for a liner lock and the company is genuinely pleasant to deal with. For me the T10 is the perfect well dressed gentleman's knife that can actually be used.

Buy 'em both!:D William Henry's are great knives. You won't go wrong with either, and that's coming from a guy with very large hands.

Best of luck.

I like both of these model WH's, but I prefer the LANCET. Its a bit "slimmer", and rides in my shirt pocket like a pen. I really love this knife!

Will makes a good analogy for the Lancet, it rides in the pocket like a pen. The Kestrel is good design but too small in hand, IMHO- try before you buy,if possible-

I handled the exact knife in Mike's pictures at a gun show a few months back. It would be in my pocket right now if it was more friendly to left-handers. I sent email to W-H about getting a lefty and the response was that they would have an ambi model soon. Don't know if that happened, and I didn't really press having a custom made. I discovered Benchmade's 771BC1-01, which is quite nice, though not in the same league. If I was right-handed, I would have at least 1 of these. It's a great looking knife, very well built, and very light.

I would go along with the others that have said that the Kestral is very small in the hand and you should try and handle them, if at all possible, before making up your mind.

The Kestrel is very small and a bit thicker, as mentioned. I find the blade shape to be less useful than the Lancet.

I would recommend the Lancet.

As a matter of fact, I have one in my pocket right now!
