This project originated with a desire to make a few Egyptians work reasons, in some piece of quality. William Henry makes some beautiful pieces of production with a very high quality and termination.
In this way, I joined a very special pair of prints on quality parts, parts that once were upgraded in all aspects, especially the arts and that I am very proud. Photos are two-piece William Henry. In a knife will do to Ramses II and the other piece will make the Queen Nefretiri.
I have pictures of the Rams (the first piece I did), but do Nefretiri, I wanted to show photos, a part of developing this type of engraving. It's the same process in two parts.
The prints are mixed with the "heavy water" and height, but mainly size. I have done some carving in ivory, but not to titanium. It has been fun and I learned so as usual self.
Work new techniques and materials is always a challenge in this case, I recognize that the tension generated was great.
Virtually the same work effort, but Ramses as the first piece was the greatest challenge (making tools, work for the first time the size of the titanium, etc ...), so I used what they learned in Nefretiri.
Discuss leading subtle colors is very well appreciated by the naked eye, but you can not take pictures and those colors do not do justice to all the pieces in their hands.
In Nefretiri I used colors for the crown as small (0.2 mm in diameter, were found in good hands, but the photos did not capture). It is important to note this fact, because the photos are either end, has nothing to do with the actual piece. I have used technique of embedding metal (gold, silver and copper), such as jewelry and enamels of japan.

Este proyecto surgió con el deseo de hacer unos trabajos con motivos egipcios , en alguna pieza de calidad . Willian Henry hace unas bellas piezas de producción con una muy alta calidad y terminación.
De esta forma he conjuntado una pareja muy especial de grabados en piezas de calidad ; piezas que una vez terminadas , se han revalorizado en todos los aspectos , especialmente el artístico y de las que me siento muy orgulloso .Serán fotos de dos piezas Willian Henry . En un cuchillo haré a Ramsés II y en la otra pieza haré a la reina Nefertari .
No tengo fotos del proceso de Ramsés ( la primera pieza que hice ) , pero al hacer Nefertari , he querido mostrar con fotos , una parte del desarrollo de este tipo de grabado .Es el mismo proceso en ambas piezas .
Los grabados son con técnica mixta de agua fuerte y talla ; pero principalmente de talla . Yo he hecho alguna talla en marfil , pero nunca en titanio . Ha sido entretenido y he aprendido como de costumbre de manera autodidacta .
Trabajar nuevas técnicas y materiales siempre es un reto , en este caso , reconozco que la tensión generada ha sido grande .
Prácticamente tienen el mismo esfuerzo de trabajo , pero en Ramsés al ser la primera pieza el reto fue mayor ( hacer herramientas , trabajar por primera vez la talla del titanio , etc ) , lo aprendido lo utilicé en Nefertari .
Comentar que llevan colores muy sutiles que se aprecian muy bien a simple vista , pero al hacerle las fotos no consigo sacar dichos colores y no hacen justicia para nada a las piezas en las manos .
En Nefertari he utilizado colores para la corona tan pequeños ( 0,2 mm de diámetro , que en las manos se aprecian bien , pero las fotos no capta ) . Es importante tener en cuenta este hecho , porque las fotos finales estando bien , no tiene nada que ver con la pieza real .He utilizado técnica de incrustación de metales ( oro , plata y cobre ) , como esmaltes de joyería y laca japonesa .
