Willie Rigney?

Hello all.
I bought this knife about 1979/80. All it says on the blade is "Rigney" on one side, and "1979" on the other. Is it a Willie Rigney? Does anyone have any idea of a value for this knife? I hope I am posting this in the right place, if not please excuse my ignorance.

that is a very early piece.

He started making much more exotic pieces, using ???? [cant remember]s blueprints-oh yea.... CRONK........they were friends.....he eventually retired and bought, of all things......a tobacco store.

Who bought a tobacco store? Rigney? I'm not sure who Cronk is, either. Amend that, I just googled him. He does nice knives!

zippox, I know this is a long delay, but I am wondering what you found out about that knife.

According to a very reliable source from the Solvang Show, Willie is going to return to knife making.

Willie, Herman Schneider, Billy Imel, Charlie Weiss. All we need now is Fred Carter back making custom knives and my collection will be in style again.
