Here is the second prototype for the B.U.S.H. Knife (Bushcraft Utility Survival Hollow Handle). This is based on a Kephart style blade, with a 4.125" long blade of 1/8" thick 1095.

Same specs as the first one posted recently. But on this one I sculpted the guard a little more, and it is built on the same "Ranger" handle platform, with the grooves milled in to the flat below the guard, so you know where the cutting edge is, and it gives a little traction.

This one also features camo kydex, and a matching firesteel handle with the same GunKote protection as the rest of the knife. This one has the compass in the buttcap, since fire starting is already taken care of.

Very pleased with how these came out, and they have been added to the lineup. Feedback is welcome. Have a great week everyone.πŸ€™πŸ€™πŸ˜Ž

Sam more superb workπŸ‘πŸ‘
Maybe a small diamond rod on other side of sheath to keep that 1095 touched up?
Keep up the great work.

mitch13 mitch13 Thank you very much! I thought about sharpening, not sure yet how to execute. A rod on the other side of the sheath is probably the best bet. Maybe even in a custom machined aluminum handle, GunKoted to match...πŸ€©πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ Thanks for the suggestion, bud.πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ‘

Sam, I really love the nostalgia that your knives bring me.
When I was a boy I would have my Grandad take me to Robert Parrish's knife shop where I would oggle the commando/survival knives he made.
One time he got a letter from a French Foreign Legionaire ordering some knives, and our High School French class translated it for him.
