Just saw a member post one in the exchange with a birthdate of 4/20/22. Did these really drop last month? I’ve been checking the Wilson combat site religiously for this! It’s always said expected 6/30/22.
 
Monday or Tuesday. Also Tim said they are making 400 knives currently for WC, large and small inkosi and umnumzaan. Also their collab with WC isn’t finished, just changing up how they run batches of knives
 
I was under the impression that after the backorders ( those being shipped now ) there would be no more Wilson / CRK collaboration s. I have no Idea where or when I heard this but it’s what I remember…
Wilson’s site no longer allows backorders and just shows no longer available.

But if they are going to be available it will save me money as I need a spare!
 
I just called Wilson Combat yesterday and they said they are discontinuing these altogether.
 
That’s really depressing. I am an Umnumzaan fan and have different variations, but would love a StarTac and a Monkey Edge Frag Zaan. Now all I can do is watch them buy and sell for twice the price! 😭


Edit: Their website no longer says upcoming 6/30/22. Now it just says no longer available.
 
When i spoke with customer service at Wilson to confirm my backorder, I was told that CRK was only filling backorders in their current production run for Wilson. It may be that they are taking Wilson/CRK’s off the website until CRK is in a position to fill orders again, which may be a long way off (if ever).
 
New Facebook live from Tim today. There's a batch of Inkosis dropping in Q2, but that will end the Wilson Combat models. Wilson Combat is changing their collabs, and it sounds like leaving the knife game altogether. Bummer

Good info, thanks. The Inkosi has never really “spoke” to me, but I may have to try and snag a WC one just to say I got a StarTac.
 
The news keeps getting worse, I guess I should be thankful for being able to snag a star-Benza awhile back from the exchange.
 
I freely admit to a panic buy last night. I was certain that I would buy another Startac at some point as a spare to my EDC one. After confirming that they were gone for sure and a few too many cocktails I snapped!

Thanks. I spent more then I hoped / wanted / should have but the prices sure aren’t going to go down any time soon and I wasnt going to stop obsessing until found a spare. I sold off the last of my “Ill never carry it” knives just yesterday so what the hell! You only live once and that’s for too short of a time…
