Looking to get the Wilson Combat Steve Woods Combat Utility Blade (C.U.B.) Knife but wanted to see if anyone has it. It's in the $350 range so I want to know if it is worth getting.

Nice! Looks similar to the CUB knife. This is a good looking knife. Another knife added to the wish list. Thanks for the tip.

For a knife of that size and shape, I'd probably go with the Lionsteel M4 at half the price.

It's M390, which is a premium "super steel." And you can have it as tacti-cool as you like: G10 scales, blade coating, and kydex sheath options are available.

I don't think those options are actually being offered yet. I seem to remember them being mentioned as well though, so maybe some time down the road? I still agree with the statement; if you want a "premium" knife of that size, there's no better deal than the Lionsteel M4.

I don't know how I forgot about that one. That's another good option.

You guys are right: looks like those options aren't available yet.

How about looking to have a custom made for you to spec?

That is a good chunk of change that can get you exactly what you want from a fixed blade, while supporting a small guy.

Yeah I have been eyeing the M4 for awhile now. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but someday.

If you want a blade made with M390 (just by the name, not with the proper heat treatment - as Bohler recomends a cryo stage), with asymmetric saber grind (look it up, maybe it was just TigFur's and my bad luck) and - in the case of wood handles, slits/openings between the wood slabs and the blade, then go for it !

I am very, VERY disappointed with my purchase ; at 160 euros, I got a sub-par finished knife that don't even compete with cheap chinese budget knives like SanRenMu 7010 or Ganzo G730 (in the range of 7 USD and 13 USD) - AND THAT IS SAD...

Great now you guys have me looking a yet another blade I don't need.
Thanks.
