I'm not clear: is the Combat folder made by Wilson, or by Fox, and Wilson is the importer? A YouTube video has what looks like the same knife but labels itself as Fox Cutlery.

If it is Fox, does anyone know the quality of their other knives imported to the US, like the Predator?

It appears that the Wilson Combat folder is made by some outside the U.S. firm, probably Fox.

Fox can make some well crafted knives. A.G. Russell has sold them and Spyderco had some knives made by Fox. Then, too, I think other firms have offerred knives made by them, though the names ellude me at the moment.

Both Ontario and Spyderco have knives designed by Jerry Hossom and made by Fox.
Excellent fit and finish, N690Co steel similar green/black Micarta handles.

I have two knives made by fox; the first is from a company called DeltaZ, which is no longer in business. The knife is the Osprey, a gentleman's size folder with maple burl scales, which was a collaboration witl D. Ralph. The second one is the Excursion from Xikar. Both knives have good fit and finish, solid lockup and overall good quality. Keeo in mind that neither of these is a heavy duty folder and I did not put either of them through any serious use.

One thing I have noticed is that Fox Knives' prices have gone through the roof! Since I have not had the opportunity to handle any of the new offerings in person, I will reserve judgement on whether or not tey are worth the prices.

Regards,
Joe
