I sent the Wilson Combat team an email yesterday, with an inquiry about a small Starbenza. I'm wondering if anyone knows if they will hand pick a knife for me, and/or look through their stock for a specific birthdate? I thought I might ask about it here, while I anxiously await a response from them. I, very regretfully and with an extremely heavy heart, had to relinquish ownership of my beloved Sebenzas and am just aching to get back into a user. :)
 
I can't imagine that they would open ever box to look through for the birth date card. If the dates were on the outside of the box, then maybe. Most enthusiasts like ourselves keep a list of information which is easy to review. The small Star-Benzas do come up on the forum for sale. Are you looking for something particular? If so post it on the Want To Buy Forum Page.

Thanks for the reply. Once I decided the Starbenza checked all my boxes, I figured I would go ahead and get a new one. That is the reason I asked. I had two dates in mind, one I would prefer over the other, but I thought I would check there before posting in the want to buy. I know that can take a long time sometimes, and I would not consider it a make or break situation.
 
I believe that are currently out of stock on the small. You may have to wait a bit. :mad:

It looks like the website says they're expecting more around the first of October. I may be putting up a WTB thread at the end of next week after all. I suppose we'll see how the money rolls. :D:cool::thumbsup:
 
Birthday Sebenzas in Wilson Combat variation will be a bit harder to find in general. I believe (no proof) that they are made in smaller batches than the rest of the smalls.
 
Would they do a customer provided knife? I'd guess going that route would be more expensive; but when a person really wants something special, sometimes they're willing to pay for it.
