I don't have any Wilsons, although I considered getting one for a long time, before I got sidetracked by folders. For some reason, Wilsons don't seem to get much attention on BF. It could be that they're considered a little bit pricey for a knife that's pretty plain (bead-blasted finish, Micarta handle, etc). I don't feel that way, since I like my knives on the plain side. If I got a chance to handle a Wilson and it felt good, $200 would seem like a good value for a custom D2 fighter.

As far as being a good EDC, I think most forumites, myself included, would consider a 4 or 5" fixed blade on the big side for EDC, especially a knife like a Wilson #2 that is obviously a fighter. If I get a Wilson, it'll probably be a #12 (3 1/4" blade). If you can carry a knife like the #2, more power to you!
