Wilson-Reeve Star Tac LEFT HANDED in stock!

Do these have the lock stabilizer disc?

The Wilson site shows pictures of the lefty without the disc so maybe they were in the production pipeline before the design change. Interestingly, the right handed model on Wilson's site shows the disc (the righty is due by the end of this month). Also, the blade is described as S30V steel for both the lefty and the righty instead of the S35V which has caused controversy. I ordered one since I've been searching for a dedicated left hand frame lock.

So I took the plunge and order a left handed Star-tac, received today...In one word wow, might have to put my 21 up for sale. Also no lockbar disc and s30v steel, birthdate of Dec 20,11. Any southpaws out there considering an Umnum should consider these, might be last chance to get a new one in this steel and no safety disc.

Congrats! Dang I read guys get a Zaan (talk about maybe selling the Sebbie) then somebody gets a Seb and says "upp might have to seel the Zaan"

Which one does a guy get

Why not both :)

The Umnum feels a bit beefier, which I like, also I think it is slightly more ergonomic than the 21, the finger Choil is slightly closer to the blade so your hand doesn't sit so far back like the 21, easier to choke up on the umnum. Both lockup rock solid, which I have never seen on a folder outside of CRK. I will say the cutout on the 21 makes the lockbar easier to disengage than the Umnum.

Oh dang. I just placed an order. Can't believe I was missing this for a good 2 weeks. This will be my first Umnumzaan, and I always preferred the star-burst texture over regular 'zaans.
