Hey everybody. I was browsing Wilson Tactical's page, and came across this little gem: CF Knife

Anybody ever seen, used, handled, whatever, one of these? Does it hold an edge well? Sharp? Obviously it'll be light. I tried scouring the Google over it, but could find no reviews or any other information other than websites selling them. Thanks in advance.
 
That's a top secret mall ninja knife that was some how leaked to the general public..... the men in black suits will be at your house soon.:D

Carbon fiber knives will not trip a metal detector, so the mere possession of such a blade raises alarm bells among the authorities.

The knife will not take or hold a usable edge, so it is OK for stabbing, but not much else.

So, let's see. We have a blade designed for stabbing, that is not detectable with metal detectors. Try as I might, I just can't find a purpose for the knife, other than the surreptitious use as a knife to kill people. Just my opinion of course.
 
Awww, c'mon. The COPS will believe it's "just" a cool letter opener. Won't they???

Well every good letter opener needs a belt sheath... :) So nobody has one? I figured just about all you could use it for would be stabbing people on an airplane, but wanted some other views.
 
Sk8er,
Buy one of the chepo synthetics and play around with it in your back yard. It could actually be fun. As for airline travel, a flashlight or walking cane/stck are better choices.

Damn Reeek, that's funny. I remember when I first saw that in my Cold Steel catalog in 1990, I think. Even then I laughed. That poster has alot of vids on YT like that too. They're all like "It'll kill ya dead, man" in this DJ narrated voice.
It's too much - "Cooly brush your hair, then... STAB 'em!!!"
