I just received the new Delta Wave from Wilson and this is hands down the most impressive tactical folder I have had the pleasure to handle or own. I have the large version and when funds allow I'll be purchasing the smaller folder also.
I don't normally post to give kudos to a dealer but this was worth the exception. BTW, I own Strider, ZTs, Benchmade, Spyderco, SOG (VG10's) etc etc and a few customs. This Wilson is very much the build of a fixed blade but in a folder. Someone had started a thread previously in regards to this knife but I can't find it so I thought I would post my impressions now.

bought a combat elite sticker from those guys some yrs. back.quality was as good as most custom makers.came with a stropped edge.

I am glad to see Ernie Emerson licensing his wave. I like spearpoint folders. This is a great looking knife. Pictures of the clip and lock would be appreciated

Unfortunately, the pic doesn't show the clip side, but the knife looks pretty good. I don't know if they'll be available elsewhere for less than retail (Would be nice), but if I were to get one, it'd probably be the small. According to the specs, the small's 4.25" closed with about a 3 3/8" blade. That's not a bad blade length to handle ratio. I kind of wished they had a PE version, but they still look pretty good.

I just received a Spyderco Woodlander today on a trade. I believe they're made by Fox Cutlery & if the F&F is any indication, then those Wilson knives should be very nice, too.

The large folder weighs in at 8.8 ounces, which is what my AR weighs. Specs also say a .200" thick blade, so I would hope the liners are at least .080" thick or thicker. Are the liners steel or titanium?

in the video the liners do not look very thick. i agree with CL01, i wish there was p.e. version! :)
