Here is one of my Ultralight B.U.S.H. Hunters (Bushcraft Utility Survival Hollow Handle). This one features a 4.5" long blade of 1095 carbon steel @ 60 HRC, 1/8" thick. It has an overall length of 9 and 1/4 in. This one weighs in at just 5.1 oz for the knife itself. Ground to SLICE!

It also has a fully sculpted aluminum guard, and Tanker Grey GunKote finish. There is a compass in the buttcap, and camo pattern kydex sheath with leather belt loop.

Sweet! Very nice work! How is this thing constructed? Like is it milled out of round stock kind of like a CRK one piece knife, or made differently? I let my CRK one piece go and always regretted it. This thing looks to be of a similar style but looks like it slices better.

Thank you! These are separate pieces for the blade, guard, and handle. The way it is constructed, it will not come apart, the blade will break like a conventional knife somewhere in front of the guard. You could leave this in your campfire overnight, and the blade will not come out, not without power tools of some sort.

I have always liked the Reeve knives and own one, but never been a big fan of the one piece construction. Extremely wasteful of material, limits the design, and very difficult to balance the smaller ones. That being said, it was a great solution to the problem Reeve stated, which was wooden handles failing in the African climate.

Sweet man, very cool! I agree that there is an incredible amount of waste to make a one piece knife, it's crazy really. Very interesting, I'm definitely going to keep you in mind for when I'm ready to get another one!

More fine work my friend, the 1095 Should make for a good user😎

Thank you very much! That thing was so sharp, I hand sanded in a convex edge justfor kicks before GunKoting. It will SLICE!πŸ˜³πŸ€©πŸ€£πŸ€£βš”
