I stopped to visit with Mike Wilson earlier this week spending a couple of hours talking knives and touring his shop. Mike is a gracious southern gentleman who has trained scores of knife makers and never lets anyone leave his shop without a gift. Mine was a tracing of one of his knives and a nice piece of cocobolo for a handle. So here is the finished product Mike, hope you approve.

1/8 inch ATS34
Hollow ground with a slight profile ground on top of the blade
Mirror finish
Overall length: 8 3/8 inches
Blade from the handle to tip: 4 1/8 inches
Sharpened part of the blade: 3 1/4 inches

Though using [ and collecting Randalls for 47 years] I would be proud to have this super designed. The curve, shape, and wood is a visul/tactal treat.

Thanks for sharing.

Nice lookin' knife! Those nickel pins sure add another level of class to the cocobolo!

Great job!

Mike is Good Fella. Very impressive operation at His place.

Mike's shop would make any knifemaker's mouth water. I didn't count but there must be nearly 8 grinders, a bunch of buffers, mills, lathes and assorted equipment. He has more drill presses than I have drill bits. And everything is as neat as a pin. Very impressive indeed!

Very nice!
Mike makes a great knife & is a top notch bloke to deal with.
Cheers
Mitch
