Hey y'all, we had so much fun last month with the custom knife giveaway that we decided to do it again. This month, Top of Texas Knives is pleased to offer a custom made knife by George Tichbourne, the Deer Hunter. This is a real beaut.

George,
Tell Carol that I'm sorry. All the pictures of George's knives on our site and George's site were done by Carol. She does a beautiful job and definitely deserves the credit.

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of handling or using one of George's knives would be nuts not to register.

Hey y'all, we've had a good response so far but there's a lot of you that haven't registered.
To those who have registered, thanks for all the kind words.
George, they really like the knife.

I think we have a problem here.

The knife arrived today at Top of Texas and Chris opened the box.

He has fallen in love with it and threatens to stuff the ballot box with his name in order to win it.

NEW RULE: Chris is ineligable to enter draw.

All kidding aside Chris called long distance to tell me that the knife had arrived and that I must be crazy selling it at that price. The problem, I explained, is that I have set the price based on what I would pay for a good hunting knife and am reluctant to change it unless my costs increase.

By the way we are adding another small knife as second prize in the draw. Chris will be posting a picture of it later today.

Remember this draw is brought to you be Top of Texas Knives and Tichbourne Knives.

George,
The old rules were that I couldn't win the knife but I thought we should change them to make me eligible to be the winner for all giveaways. Just kidding. hahaha

Hey guys, here's what George has been talking about. Check this out.

Now we are going to have two winners in the contest.
I got George's Deer Hunter in yesterday and boy is this a beauty. It feels so good in your hand no matter whether you rotate the knife with the edge up or down. A guy working over an animal could really get some work done with this. Not only is the knife great but the sheath is excellent, too. Excellent fit for the knife, very heavy duty, and very nice looking. George's multi-talented wife Carol who takes all of the beautiful pictures of George's knives also helps working on the sheaths.

I still think I oughta win this knife.
Oh well, maybe next time. hahaha

The knife pictured is a simple knife made for trout fishermen like myself who would like a small knife that hangs from the shoulder strap of your waders in a kydex sheath. Kind of like a neck knife but more of a utility knife. Handle is plastisol coated for better grip. Blade is 440C.

Because of the response this will be the second place prize in the draw.
