Up for grabs…….

1-CO7SATU-CLIPIT Police Model: Right hand- SpyderEdge- Tufram coated- new in box.

"What one Spyderco model do you carry daily or what one model is a strong part of your everyday rotation? Please list just one model."

There is no right, wrong, or best answer here, we're just curious! You are entered simply by posting (just once please). There are two contests running simultaneously on both Spyderco forums. You CAN enter both contests. Contests close 2400 MST July 30th . A randomly drawn winner from each forum will be posted July 31. Good Luck!

Gunting because it is comfotable for my arthritic hands. Not all Guntaholics are martial artists.

Thanks for the contest! I love my old style plain edge Viele because it is a work of art and I know it will never fail me, its a Spyderco :)

Hi Joyce:

I carry the Lum Chinese Folder, because it is a very thin knife and I can carry it clipped to the waist band of my suit. I work in retail jewelry so it's hard to find a knife that has a very low print. The Lum with the tail mounted clip fits right behind my belt on my left side for a right cross draw for easy access without a bulge in my suit. I wear a double breasted type of suit so this is perfect. The blade shape and flat grind is perfect for most chores I need to perform. The single most often repeated task is cutting the meat in a Microwave dinner when " Marie Callender" and I have lunch together.
When I'm in my civies on my day off I still carry the Lum Chinese folder in the waist band to keep the habit and I usually have another in my pocket. This is where I'll do a rotation between my other styles.
Starmate, Shabaria, Large Wegner, and assorted others.I carry a worker when doing yard chores because the blade shape works great to cut string or plastic that gets caught up in the lawn mower, also quick trimming of vines and stuff that you run into.

G-10 standard, fully serrated. A great knife that's always been up to the tough tasks. I only wish spyderco still made them so I could get a plain edge one too :)

Several make it into the daily rotation but the one that is always in my pocket is the Cricket. It's my money clip.

Every day is the VG-10 Calypso Jr. due to a city ordinance where I work on blade length.

Easily, my PE Spydercards. Smooth lockup and pretty sharp, it carries unobtrusively in my wallet. It's inexpensive with a large Spyderhole and stout blade to make it more than a gentleman's knife but small enough not to scare most folks.

Simple, my plain edge CPM 440V Military. Holds an edge forever and is sharp as sin, who could ask for more?:D

Thanks for the compo!:p
