Very nice! I like everything about that knife, especially the slanted/grooved bolsters.I agree with Al on the time frame, when Bill Howard ran Queen. These are beautifully made and highly undervalued knives.

Not really in the market for something that big or that pattern but they do look nice. Current quests are an old case 92 and a few Schrades. Too many knives not enough money to buy them allI seriously doubt you'll be disappointed, sXe, as I've had 4 or 5 of these Cartridge Series knives, and they've all been very well made.
Yes.Were the Black Boxes also made during the Howard era? 87 to 91 I think==KV
Thanks for the inspiration I just bought one I had on my watch sense I saw this thread. Not many 4” stag trapper patterns out there thought my as well pick one upThanks for the info fellas! In my browsing for Queen-made Winchesters today I came across this one and couldn’t pass it up. It was made in ‘93. I’m a big trapper fan and this checked a lot of my boxes. I’ll post some better pictures when it comes in.
