Winchester Cartridge Series

Does anyone know who made this knife and the approximate year of manufacture?

I know the black box series was made by Queen and the cast handle series by Utica but can’t find these.

Queen. Mid 1990s to early 2000s. Date will be on reverse tang of master blade.

I agree with Al on the time frame, when Bill Howard ran Queen. These are beautifully made and highly undervalued knives.

Very nice! I like everything about that knife, especially the slanted/grooved bolsters.

I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed, sXe, as I've had 4 or 5 of these Cartridge Series knives, and they've all been very well made.

Not really in the market for something that big or that pattern but they do look nice. Current quests are an old case 92 and a few Schrades. Too many knives not enough money to buy them all

Thanks for the info fellas! In my browsing for Queen-made Winchesters today I came across this one and couldn’t pass it up. It was made in ‘93. I’m a big trapper fan and this checked a lot of my boxes. I’ll post some better pictures when it comes in.

Thanks for the inspiration I just bought one I had on my watch sense I saw this thread. Not many 4” stag trapper patterns out there thought my as well pick one up
