Just wanting info regarding these 5 sharp little knives I know they are in a run of 2000 but that is all I got thanks anyone for your help

Hello...Welcome to the forums.

The set is known as "the red letter set", and celebrates the famous Model 37 Shotgun. Set was made in 1987.
They come in a large black box, stamped on top and a note of authenticity. One bolster on each knife is etched with matching serial numbers.
Each blade is color etched/stamped with the Model 37 shotgun...each with the different gauges available at the time (410, 28, 20, 12, 16)

I have the box which I can take a picture of if you need it...Pics provided are of just the knives.

The set represents the first of the Winchester reproduction knives made...they are hard to find, but they do turn up occasionally.

Below is a "family" shots of some of my Winchesters reproductions...You can see the red letter set at the bottom...as you can see they are very small in comparison.

best collection of these i've ever seen. they are seriously collected in certain circles. buddy of mine bought 7 in large collection recently, white box 1994 time frame. sold 2 for 155$ apiece. you've built a wise collection.

Thanks! :D
My theme was to collect all of the Winchester Reproductions between the years of 1987-91, with black handle appearance only, which meant I went for any pattern as long as it was offered in either...Rogers, Brown bone or Peachseed handles (they all look black...give or take:))

It took me 3yrs to find them all.

Hey guys thanks for your quick responses and why can I not view pics. Sincerely E. Parker
